Catholic/Christian Books
These are books that I have either read or had recommended to me that have provided a steady but important diet of expanding my understanding of Catholic culture, doctrine, or general Christian faith formation. For older books, such as Chesterton's works and St. Augustine, they can be found in the public domain. I highly recommend Project Gutenberg for classical works. I am a huge fan of C.S. Lewis, as he has been the single most influential Christian thinker on my development in faith.
- Orthodoxy, by G.K. Chesterton
- The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis
- A Grief Observed by C.S. Lewis
- The Abolition of Man by C.S. Lewis
- Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
- The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis
- Where is God When it Hurts? by Philip Yancy
- Rediscover Jesus by Matthew Kelly
